We're Back... and so are the Spiders
Atletico Lokomotiv are set to return to co-ed indoor soccer
on Tuesday January 13th at 9:20pm against Capital Punishment
(!?!). This season also marks the return of arch nemeses
The Spiders - too scared to play to their proper league
level they have decided to 'slum' it once more in our
division, now correctly renamed, Division Four.
Congratulations To Lokomotiv Lanes!
Original squad member Liane Lane will not be playing for ALFC in the forseeable future as her
and husband John prepare for the imminent arrival of Mini-Lane (a baby, if you missed that).
All at ALFC wish them all the best for the future - a replica Atletico shirt, size 1, is on order.
Atletico Lokomotiv 1 Year Old
It was one year ago the famous Greens took to the field
in their first competitive game, January 6th 2003, losing
out to the Highlanders 2-6. However, Atletico redeemed
themselves the following night, beating T.J.2 4-0. ALFC
remained unbeaten for the remainder of their inaugural
season and finished top of the table, earning promotion.
